Time for Drastic Measures

The past couple of months I have been exhausted.  It doesn’t seem to matter how much or how little sleep I get.   Early morning exercise, afternoon exercise, evening exercise - it doesn’t make a difference.  Every time I sit down, I fall asleep.  Iron levels are through the roof so I’m definitely not anemic.  I’m sick of being tired all the time so I started something new this morning.

My diet will pretty much be fresh fruits and vegetables with some grains and legumes and a lot of water.  No, I didn’t come up with this on my own so hopefully it will work.  I’m hoping that some weight will be lost, but the true goal right now is just to have some energy.  The reports I’ve read support that outcome.   It’s going to be hard because I don’t eat that many veggies.  Not that I don’t like them, I just don’t eat them.  I know, I’m confuse myself sometimes!

On a much more up note, I did 7 miles yesterday, or for me, 15,550 steps.  2.3 miles was walking the dog in the early morning.  The rest was grocery shopping, taking the kids to the museum, taking the kids for a walk around the block and just chasing after the kids in general.  I also got some flowers planted in the front yard.  It looks like someone actually lives here now instead of just existing.  I’m just hoping they’re still alive this weekend!  I don’t have a good track record with flowers.  I would love to have a rosebush hedge in front of part of the porch, but I don’t think I could make it live.  Tomatoes, peppers, any veggie and I can do great.  The only flowers I seem to be able to grow are ones you can eat.  Hey, roses are edible, maybe I should give it another shot!  lol Flowers

Have a great week all.

Sounds like you need a trip to the dr. and a few test to make sure your blood is healthy.
Also - you may be trying to do too much.
Oh - and one more thing I used to fall asleep everytime I sat down when I was pregnant. Any chance there????
