Finally Friday
My newsletter was a hit. Always seems that the things I gripe about the most end up being the best end product. I’m just glad it’s done. This month was a complete redesign and there is nothing I hate more than proof reading something I’m creating. Next month will be easier, I hope.
My exercise today was a whirlwind of house cleaning. I got home from my meeting and there was a message from a new friend asking if I was still free this afternoon. We’d been trying to get together for a few weeks and even though I really didn’t want to have company, I called her back and invited her and her daughter over. That meant I had to clean the main part of the house after a day of being lazy and not doing it yesterday. Didn’t help matters that we had spaghetti for lunch (I have a 2 year old if that gives some clue as to the mess) and my son decided to give his glass of milk to the dogs, without the glass. I managed to clean the entire first floor in about an hour, washing the kitchen floor and all. It was worth it. I had a pleasant visit. It’s nice to talk to someone face to face sometimes.
I’m hoping the kids sleep in tomorrow morning. I could really use it. I doubt they will so I’m going to try to get some sleep tonight.
I hope everyone has a great weekend.
Glad your newsletter was a hit. I hope you have a great weekend!
That is great about your newsletter. Sometimes it is better to talk face to face. I lloked up the Childrens Museum. Did you go to union terminal? I have been wanting to go there but never have yet. I hope you got some rest and ready to face today! Have a good one Diane!
