The silver lining

Yesterday was a really bad day for me.  I was exhausted for no apparent reason and in a rotten mood.  I did make it to the gym and got my whole workout done. (silver lining one)  I also met a woman there while waiting for a machine that lives near a friend of mine.  They are friends as well so we’re all going to try to get together with the kiddies some day soon.  (silver lining two)

Yesterday evening I was trying to finish the newsletter, which was 6 pages instead of 4 this month.  I was to the point of just double checking it before printing and one of my pages had been replaced by a generic page having nothing to do with my newsletter.  I so dislike Publisher.  I have no problem with any of the other MS Office programs, but that one gets me every time.  Since I was about ready to make the house computer free, I took the dogs for a walk instead.  I got my beagle to keep up to a 3 mph pace and the pup to not chase after everyone else who was out exercising. (silver lining 3)  The best part of the whole day was that I got to see one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve seen since moving to Ohio.  (silver lining 4)  Got the newsletter finished and don’t have to deal with it for another 3 weeks.

Today I can barely move because of the workout yesterday.  I hadn’t done much except cardio lately and my muscles have let me know that they don’t appreciate not being used regularly.  I think not being over the bronchitis has something to do with it as well.  Tomorrow I may not do quite as much, but I will still go and do a workout.  Today I’m off to the park with the kids for a while and then housework for the rest of the day.  Okay, so I am going to try to make Pooh and Piglet out of fondant at some point so it’s not all work.

Have a good day all.

Remember to let your body get the rest it needs also. I was just thinking what with just getting over the bronchitus that your body needs to rest some more.Who knows, thats my two cents anyways.

That is great that you met some new people. That is always fun. Good for you for getting all your “silver linings”.
