ARRRGHHHHH!
I was on such a roll last week. I worked out twice at the gym, did 5-6 miles a day, ate right then came the weekend.
My son kept me up all night Friday night so no walk with the dog Saturday morning. Saturday I was so tired I couldn’t barely function. This morning I woke up with the cold my son is now almost over. At least I know why I was tired. I was just getting ready to head out for my walk with the pup and the kids came bopping downstairs. My daughter had wet her bed and was soaked. Had to get her cleaned up then get hubby up so I could start laundry.

This afternoon we met some friends at a butterfly show. Butterflies from Africa - cool. Temp and humidity level in butterfly area - HIGH! I think I sweat more than during a workout! My kids loved all the butterflies so it was worth it. I was extremely happy to get into the pool when we got home, though.

I’m planning to get back on track in the morning. Too late to do much tonight. I have a newsletter to get finished and sent to the printer so I can pick it up on Wednesday. I am hoping my daughter doesn’t get this cold so I can go to the gym tomorrow. Even if she does, I think I’ll go when hubby gets home from work if I don’t make it in the morning.

Have a good evening everyone!

Diane, sounds like it’s been a rough weekend for you! At least going to see the butterfly exhibit got you some walking in…it may not be your normal workout but sometimes it’s nice to do something different! I am glad you enjoyed yourself for the most part! I know you will be back on track tomorrow!
You will get back on track!
Have a great week!
you’ll get back on track, I know you will. I have to do the same. My weekend has been full of not so good decisions! UGH!
Did you go to the butterfly shoe at the Krohn Conservatory?? We were going to go there sometime soon. I hope it is still running. Anyway, good luck to you on your plans for the upcoming week.
That should say Show, not shoe.
Hang in there kid. Not much you can do when you dont feel well…Body needs rest…
Take care!
I think you’re doing great! Don’t let a little setback get you down, you exercised so much, you deserve a bit of rest. Just take it easy for a few days, do the exercise, but at a moderate pace… it will leave you feeling much better and help you recuperate. Have a great week Diane!
