Please tell me this day is over!
Nothing went as I had planned today, starting with being up most of last night. I wanted to take the dog and the kids for a walk, but ended up having to give the kitchen a good cleaning. Think by now I’d realize how much of a mess an 18 month old can make. Guess mopping is good exercise. I had also planned to use my elliptical machine after the kids went to bed since my husband was home. At 6 the phone rang and he had to go into work and won’t be home until sometime tomorrow!

Since I can’t hear the kids when I’m using the machine, that was out. I finally got my daughter to bed and went downstairs, planning to do nothing and wondering what there was to eat. I did snack a little bit, but only went over by 80 calories, none of it fat. I finally got off my butt and did some mini trampoline/walking for an hour, 7700 steps. At least my hubby will be home during the day tomorrow since he’s working all night. I really hope it rains then I know he won’t have to work since they can’t do testing when the humidity is high.

Now that I’ve written a book, I bid all a restful night and a happy morrow.
Goodnight Diane
You do have your hands full with the kids. Good for you for doing the mini trampoline. I wanna get one of those. Do you like it and find it effective?
Tomorrow your hubby will be home and hopefully you’ll get a break. It sounds like you did quite well though.

I know how hard it is to work out around the kids schedules. I made the mistake of not getting up before they did and then having to go on the treadmill while they’re playing and squabbling with each other! NOW that’s a workout trying to get them to stop fighting with each other and having to wipe my son’s runny nose while huffing and puffing on a 10% incline, yeesh!
Do you have a baby moniter, they are so great. Just set it up and you can go workout and still hear the kids if they get up or need you. I used mine all the time.
Way to go on the mini trampoline and the 7700 steps!
I’m so impressed that you’re pressing on and persisting in the face of adversity. It’s hard when disappointments come and plans constantly change. It sounds like you’re rolling with the punches though and pushing on. Terrific! Keep up the good work.
Sounds like you are still powering through!!
GOOD JOB!!!
